McNotagain Fall Trail Runs
This event takes place on November 14, 2026, at Mcnaughton Park in Pekin, IL. It is a trail running event held on the park's established looped trails in central Illinois.
Distances offered include:
- 50 Miler
- 30 Miler
- 10 Miler
- 3.5 Miler (approx.)
The course uses the full ten mile loop run in the reverse direction compared to the spring race. Each loop includes two creek crossings and about 1300 feet of elevation gain per loop. The terrain is described as the park trails in flat Central Illinois but includes those creek crossings and the stated elevation per loop. A 13 hour time limit applies to all distances.
Event swag and awards are planned as follows: T shirts for the 3.5 and 10 mile distances, long sleeve shirts for the 30 and 50 mile races, and finishers medals for all finishers. Overall male and female awards will be presented. Organizers are working on a special finisher item for 50 mile finishers.
