McNotagain Fall Trail Runs : Pekin, IL
McNotagain Fall Trail Runs takes place at McNaughton Park in Central Illinois. The event offers multiple trail race distances on a course based on a 10 mile loop that is run in reverse direction from its usual layout.
Each loop includes two creek crossings and about 1300 feet of elevation gain per 10 mile loop. The event program includes the following distances:
- 50 miles
- 30 miles
- 10 miles
- 3.5 miles (approximate)
All races share a 13 hour time limit. The race organizer provides apparel: T-shirts for the shorter distances and long sleeve shirts for the two longer races. Finishers receive medals; overall male and female awards are planned. Organizers are developing a special finisher item for 50 mile finishers.
