McNotagain Fall Trail Runs
McNotagain Fall Trail Runs take place on November 14, 2026 at Mcnaughton Park in Pekin, IL, located in Central Illinois. The event features multiple trail distances on the park's established loop system and is presented as a fall counterpart to spring ultras held at the same park.
The main course uses the full 10 mile loop run in reverse direction so participants see the route from a different perspective. Each loop includes two creek crossings and about 1300 feet of elevation gain per loop. The terrain is described as park trails in a generally flat region of Central Illinois.
Race distances include:
- 50 miles
- 30 miles
- 10 miles
- 3.5 miles (approximate)
All races have a 13 hour time limit. Event apparel and awards are planned: T shirts for the 3.5 and 10 mile races and long sleeve shirts for the 30 and 50 mile races. Finishers receive medals and there will be overall male and female awards. Organizers are working on a special finishers item for 50 mile finishers.
