About the race
McNotagain Fall Trail Runs take place on November 14, 2026 at Mcnaughton Park in Pekin, IL. The event offers multiple trail distances on the park’s looped trails in Central Illinois. The course uses the full 10 mile loop run in reverse direction, so participants see the loop from the opposite perspective. Each loop includes two creek crossings and about 1300 feet of elevation gain per loop.
The park is described as "flat" Central Illinois terrain despite the reported loop gain. Available race distances: - 3.5 miles (approx) - 10 miles - 30 miles - 50 miles All races share a 13 hour time limit. The event provides event apparel: T shirts for the shorter distances and long sleeve shirts for the longer races. Finishers medals will be awarded to all finishers, and there will be overall male and female awards.
