Storm King Run
The Storm King Run is organized by the Rotary Club of West Point-Highland Falls, NY, and takes place along the historic Hudson River. The event includes race distances for adults and a separate kids event.

- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run
Parking is provided in the US Mint / West Point Ski Slope parking lot. The start and finish are located near West Point's Washington Gate on NY-218. A primary route is used for the 5K and 10K; an alternate route may be implemented because of road repairs and would run southwest along NY-218 and NY-293 for both distances.
Walkers and volksmarchers are welcome. If the alternate route is used, pets and strollers are not permitted. All 5K and 10K participants must turn around and return to the start line by the event cutoff regardless of their position on the course. The race is held rain or shine except in the case of a lightning storm. Multiple water stations are placed on the routes.
All paid registrants receive a race t-shirt, a goodie bag, and food and beverages. Timing for the 5K and 10K is by chip through Super Race Systems. A DJ at the start and finish is provided by Party Time Productions. Proceeds support academic scholarship programs including the Ursula Jordan Scholarship and the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.
