Stop the Traffick!

Stop the Traffick! is a race festival held in partnership with Destiny Rescue to raise funds for rescuing children from human trafficking. This second annual event takes place in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at Kalamazoo Christian Middle School. The event features multiple participation options:

  • 1 Mile Fun Run
  • 5K Run/Walk
  • 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run

Both the one mile and the 5K courses are off-road, utilizing the school’s cross-country trails. Both distances are timed events. For those who wish to support the cause without participating in the physical races, there is an option to register to receive an event shirt.

Participants in the 5K are eligible for awards. These include Overall Male and Female winners, as well as first and second-place winners in various age divisions ranging from 14 and under to 70-99. All participants in the one mile fun run receive a token of participation.

T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by May 6. Registration for the races closes on June 4. Packet pickup is available on the Friday evening before the event and on the morning of the race at Kalamazoo Christian Middle School. Limited parking is available at the school, with overflow parking located at 12th Street Baptist Church. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
