Event overview
Stop the Traffick! takes place on June 6, 2026 in Kalamazoo, Michigan at Kalamazoo Christian Middle School (3800 S 12th St). The event is a race festival held in partnership with Destiny Rescue to raise funds to support the rescue of children from human trafficking. The festival includes a one mile fun run and a 5K run/walk. Both courses use the school cross-country course and include off-road trails.
Logistics and fees
Packet pickup is available the day before and on race day at Kalamazoo Christian Middle School. Parking is limited at the school with overflow parking at 12th Street Baptist Church. Registration opens in February 2026; registrations close on Thursday, June 5, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are:
- 5K - $30.00
- One Mile - Free (t-shirt may be added for $15)
- 5K and One Mile - $30.00
T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by May 6. 5K awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to division winners in age brackets: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
