Stoneport 5k Quarry Run/Walk
The 12th Stoneport 5K Quarry Run/Walk is scheduled for August 8, 2026 at the Presque Isle Quarry, 11351 East Grand Lake Road, Presque Isle, MI 49777, USA. The event offers an on site 5K race and a virtual 5K option; virtual participants may submit their times for consideration.
The event raises funds for the MyMichigan Cancer Foundation in Alpena and is held in honor and memory of family members and friends affected by cancer. Prizes will be awarded in various age categories for both the on site and virtual courses.
If public health conditions warrant, the event will be converted to an all virtual format; that determination will be made as late as possible. Registration opens May 22, 2026 and closes August 3, 2026. The registration fee for the race is $25.00 and there is an additional cost for an event T shirt.
