Event Details
The Family Fun Run in Alpena takes place in Bay View Park on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The event is organized to support Alpena's Baby Pantry and the Options Pregnancy Center, with all proceeds directed to these organizations. Activities
The event features multiple ways to participate:

The course for the run and walk starts at Bay View Park, follows a route along the Thunder Bay River, and finishes at a scenic pier on Lake Huron, past the local yacht club. The event will take place rain or shine.
Participant Information
Children under 10 years old can participate for free. Water and snacks will be available for participants. The event also includes festive camp and cornhole games for non-runners and walkers.
Awards and Recognition
For the 5K race, custom medals are awarded to the first 20 finishers. Additionally, trophies are presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Those who cannot attend can still support the cause through sponsorship or donation.
