Stone Cross to Lug - Relay
Stone Cross to Lug is a three‑leg mountain relay in County Wicklow held on Saturday 26 September 2026. The planned route covers a total of 54.00 km with 2,170 m of climb. The course is not marked and GPS is not allowed.
The event is organised as three legs with the following distances:
- Leg 1 - 13.18 km
- Leg 2 - 15.99 km
- Leg 3 - 20.15 km
The route crosses a series of upland ridges and named summits. Notable points on the course include Seahan, Corrig, Seefingan, Kippure on Leg 1; Carrigvore, Gravale, Duff Hill, Mullaghcleevaun and Tonelagee on Leg 2; and Conavalla, Camenabologue, Cannow and Lugnaquilla on Leg 3. Changeovers are at Sally Gap and Turlough Hill car park. The finish and prizegiving location is Fenton's Bar in Glen of Imaal. Registration is at Seahan Forest.
Cutoffs will be enforced at checkpoints; the organisers state there will be checkpoint times and random kit checks. Entry details are not yet available.
Mandatory kit is Level C Advanced and must be carried as required. Required items include a waterproof jacket with taped seams, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile with emergency number, foil blanket or bivvy, waterproof full leg cover, means to carry at least 500 mL water, emergency food, map and compass.
