The Lakes 10 km 2026
Lakeshore Striders AC will stage the 18th running of The Lakes 10 km, a road race around Blessington Lakes with the course based at Red Lane in Blessington. The event location is described as less than 30 minutes from the M50 and at the foot of the Wicklow Mountains. A permit for the event is pending approval.
For 2026 the race will also serve as the Wicklow County 10 km Championship Race. Medals and refreshments are provided for all participants after the race. Cash prizes are offered for the top three male and top three female finishers with prize amounts of €100 for first place, €75 for second and €50 for third.
An early bird rate applies to the first 50 entries. Online ticketing is available in advance with listed ticket types and prices including an early bird price of €30 and a general sale price of €35. The organiser lists dates for online ticket sales in 2026.
