The Lakes 10k 2026
Lakeshore Striders AC will host the 18th running of The Lakes 10k on 12 September 2026 at Red Lane, Blessington. The event permit has been approved, cert.no: 26/387 Blessington.
The organiser describes the race as a fast 10k road race routed around the Blessington Lakes. The course sits near the foot of the Wicklow Mountains and is located less than 30 minutes from the M50.
For 2026 the race will also act as the Wicklow County 10k Championship. Cash prizes are listed for the top three male and female finishers: 1st place €100, 2nd place €75, 3rd place €50. Medals and refreshments are provided for all participants following the race.
