About the race
Stomp Out The Stigma 5K is an evening event on September 26, 2026 at Jamestown Airport that features a Run the Runway at Dusk experience. Participants move along an airport runway as the sun sets and the runway lights begin to glow.
The event includes a 5K walk and a 5K run held separately on the same evening. Glow gear is encouraged and music and community resources will be available. An airport observation deck offers a vantage point for family members, friends, and other spectators.
Proceeds benefit the Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County and support suicide loss support groups, the Sudden Loss Care Team, suicide prevention education, community outreach, and other programs to strengthen hope and connection in the community.
