About the race
The Chautauqua Striders Winter 5K Series Race #1 is a 5K road race on January 9, 2027, that begins and ends at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, 10 Dunham Avenue, Celoron, NY 14720. It is one race in a five-race Winter 5K Series with an option to register for the entire series.
Individual race registration is $20.00. A five-race series bundle is offered for $80.00, effectively one race free when compared to individual entries. Participants 18 and under receive a student discount and pay $16.00 per individual race. Runners age 80 and older register free; the registration fee is automatically waived for those participants. Day of registration is available at the race for a $25.00 fee.
To be eligible for overall series awards, participants must register for the entire series and complete at least four of the five races. If a participant runs all five races, the slowest race time will be dropped when calculating the series result. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the series. Each race includes eligibility for raffle prizes; participants should check the registration table to see if they have won.
Coffee and tea are provided before and after each race by the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. Water and snacks are also provided before and after each race. In the event of a winter weather advisory or unsafe conditions, races will be rescheduled to the designated makeup date of Saturday, February 20. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
