Chautauqua Striders Winter 5K Series Race #2
The event is the second race in the Chautauqua Striders Winter 5K Series, held at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, 10 Dunham Ave, Celoron, NY 14720. The course distance for this race is 5K.
Individual race registration costs $20.00. A five-race series bundle is offered for $80.00 total. Participants age 80 and older register free and that fee is automatically waived. Students age 18 and under receive a reduced individual race fee of $16.00, applied automatically at checkout. Day of registration is available at the race for an increased fee of $25.00. Online registration for each Winter 5K Series race closes at 11:59 AM the day before the race.
To be eligible for overall series awards, participants must register for the entire series and complete at least four of the five races. If a participant runs all five races, the highest race time will be dropped from series scoring. Prizes are planned for the top three finishers in the series.
Raffle prizes are available to participants at each race; winners should check the registration table before leaving to claim prizes. Coffee, tea, water, and snacks will be provided before and after each race courtesy of the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. In the event of a winter weather advisory or unsafe conditions, the scheduled Winter 5K will be rescheduled to the designated makeup date of Saturday, February 20.
