Frozen 50K : Cassadaga, NY (February 7, 2026)
The Frozen 50K is a winter running event held in Cassadaga, NY and produced by Wilson Endurance Sports. The event is held in conjunction with the Cassadaga Winter Festival and states that 100% of the event proceeds will be given to the Chautauqua County Fire Police. Registration is available online through RunSignUp and race day registration is listed at $40. The event page notes no refunds, but allows deferral to the following year or transfer to another event with advance notice.

Participants run a 3.1 mile (5K) loop around Lower Lake in Cassadaga. The course is mostly flat with about 60 ft of elevation per loop, runs on the shoulder of the roadway against traffic with left-hand turns to avoid crossing traffic, and requires a crossing at Maple Ave and Mill Street to return to the community room. There are no cut-off times and all breaks are included in finish time. An aid station is located at the start point offering water and commercial sports nutrition. A warming location with coffee and hot cocoa, restrooms, indoor bag storage, food service, a beer zone provided by a sponsor, onsite massage for a suggested donation, and spectator access (with a requested donation for food costs) are listed as available. Top three overall male and female finishers of the full 50K receive an embroidered scarf. Events run by the organizer are limited to 350 athletes at a venue.
