Frozen 50K : overview
The Frozen 50K takes place on February 7, 2026 in Cassadaga, NY 14718. The event is produced by Wilson Endurance Sports and is held in conjunction with the Cassadaga Winter Festival. All event proceeds are donated to the Chautauqua County Fire Police. Race day registration is available for $40. The event uses a no-cutoff format and allows participants to choose their distance on race day.

Course and race features
The course is a 3.1 mile loop around the Lower Lake in Cassadaga. Runners complete the loop as many times as needed to reach their chosen distance. The route runs on the roadway shoulder, with runners positioned against traffic and using left-hand turns to avoid crossing traffic, except at the Maple Ave and Mill Street intersection. The loop is mostly flat with about 60 ft of elevation gain per loop. An aid station at the start provides water and Hammer Nutrition HEED and gels. A warming location in the Community Room at 22 Mill Street offers restrooms and bag storage. Breaks taken by participants are included in finish times. Top three overall male and female finishers of the full 50K receive an embroidered scarf. Pancakes and sausage are provided in the morning until the last runner finishes.
