Frozen 50K
The Frozen 50K takes place in the lakeside community of Cassadaga, New York. This event is located one hour south of Buffalo and one hour north of Erie, Pennsylvania, situated near I-90. The race functions as a fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting the Chautauqua County Fire Police.
The course consists of a 5K loop around the Lower Lake in Cassadaga. Participants have the option to run or walk between one and ten loops based on their personal preference and goals for the day. There are no cut-off times for completing the distance.
Available distances:
- 50K (ten loops)
- 5K to 45K (one to nine loops)
Every participant who completes at least one loop is included in the final event results. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers who complete the full 50K distance. Registration is available in advance or on the day of the event using cash, check, or Venmo.
