Stomp Out Addiction 5K Run/Walk : overview

Stomp Out Addiction 5K Run/Walk is a charity running event scheduled for April 26, 2026 in Baker Park, Frederick, Maryland (121 N. Bentz Street, 21701). This is the ninth annual edition. Funds raised support Phoenix Recovery Academy, a recovery high school in Frederick that serves adolescents recovering from substance use disorder and operates an afterschool Alternative Peer Group program.

Entry fees listed on the event page are $43.40 for the 5K (price increases after March 31, 2026), $38.10 for the 5K (Student), and $11.60 for the Virtual 5K. Registration for the student and virtual events closes on April 26, 2026 at 10:00am EDT. The Virtual 5K may be completed between April 24 and April 27, 2026 and includes a printable digital race bib, a printable finisher certificate, and separate searchable virtual results; the virtual option does not include a t-shirt.

Awards are given to the top finisher in each listed age group, male and female: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-79. A course map is provided by the organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
