Event
The Stockport Harriers Boxing Day 5K is scheduled for Friday 26 December 2025 at the Woodbank Park Athletic Facility in Woodbank Park, Offerton, Stockport (postcode SK1 4JR). The event is a 5K fun run held on a fully marshalled, one-lap course that uses the track and runs through Woodbank Park, Vernon Park and surrounding areas. Changing rooms with lockers and showers are available. Finishers receive flapjacks.
Entries and logistics
Entry is open to athletes aged 11 to 89 on the day of the event. Entry fees are listed as £10 for affiliated runners, £12 for unaffiliated runners, and £14 for entries on the day. UK Athletics members receive a £2 discount upon validation. Entries close on 25 December 2025. The race has a limit of 200 places; when the event is full a waiting list operates and places are only paid for if offered and accepted. The event’s refund policy states no refunds.
Prizes and charity
Prizes are awarded to the first male and female junior, the first three male and female overall, and across all age-group categories. Prize vouchers have been donated by third parties.
