Event overview
The Stick Season Trail Run Series is a multi-date trail and road running series in Glencoe, Missouri (2751 Glencoe Rd, 63038). The series runs on Saturdays from December 27, 2025 through January 24, 2026. Events take place at Rockwoods Reservation and nearby routes, with the final half marathon starting at LaSalle Middle School and using Bluff View, Rock Hollow and East Zombie segments.
Races, format and services
The series includes five separate race events and a full-series option. Distances and event names are:
- 10K F.K.T
- 4 Mile G.O.A.T.
- 15 Mile GNARLYBEAST
- 12K The EQUALIZER
- Half Marathon The FROZEN STICK Finalie
- Full series entry covering all five races
Courses vary from smooth asphalt road to single-track trail with significant elevation change. Some courses include a shoe transition zone where runners may change footwear mid-course. Races are chip timed and run on fully marked courses. Single-race participants receive a neck buff, bib, drinks, snacks and instant results. Full-series registrants receive a beanie, neck buff, finisher medal, hoodie and T-shirt; finalie points accumulate for series awards.
