Event Overview

The Cottleville Shamrock Race for the Helmet is a timed 5K run/walk presented by the Cottleville Firefighters. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 1385 Motherhead Road in Cottleville, Missouri. Participants receive a themed race shirt with their registration if they register by February 26.

Course and Features

The 5K course travels through a park, over a stream, and past lakes. Top finishers are awarded green fire helmets. After the race, there are post-race festivities that include donuts and beer.

Registration and Logistics

Packet pickup is available at Cottleville Fire Station #1 on the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before the race from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and also on race morning. Several local roads will be closed for the duration of the event.
