The Saint Patricks Day 5K/10K Fun Run
The Saint Patricks Day Fun Run takes place in downtown Wildwood, Missouri, starting from the Racers Village at the local Farmers Market. This holiday-themed event offers participants two extended distances that utilize the paved Wildwood Greenway trail system. The course features a route that passes through various bridges and tunnels within the Wildwood area.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 4 miles (5K XL)
- 8 miles (10K XXL)
The 8 mile option consists of two laps of the course and includes timed splits. Both routes include aid stations located at the 4-mile and 8-mile marks. The event is professionally chip-timed, providing instant results and free digital photos for those taking part.
Registration includes several items such as a finishers medal, a soft-spun T-shirt, and a neck buff. After the run, an awards ceremony is held at the Racers Village, which features music and various refreshments including snacks, sodas, and other drinks. Participants are also invited to an afterparty at the Wildwood Pub, where a themed cocktail is provided as part of the event entry.
