Stevenage Menzies 5k and 10k, 30 August 2026
The event brings together multiple runs at Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage, including a 5k, a 10k, a children's mini mile and a combined 5k+10k challenge. The race village is based at the bandstand area opposite the park cafe and on the grass near the Stevenage Parkrun start.
Organisers provide chip timing attached to race numbers and will publish results in real time; finishers receive both chip and gun times. Finishers in the 5k will receive a medal; 10k finishers receive a medal and a unisex t-shirt. Entry fees are listed: 5k only £17, 10k only £30, combined entry £40, with a £2 discount for affiliated running clubs.
The course will be wheel measured and run under an ARC permit to ensure accurate distances. A supervised baggage area and mobile toilets will be available in the race village; there are no changing facilities. The course is suitable for wheelchair users; runners may use one well behaved dog on a short lead or one pushchair but should start at the back.
Water stations are provided on the 10k course and at the finish. Prize categories include top three male and female finishers and the top three age-graded performers in each race.
