Stevenage Menzies 5k and 10k 2026
Stevenage Menzies Race Day comprises a 5k, a 10k, the Tollers Mini Mile and a combined 5k+10k challenge. The event is organised by Stevenage Striders and takes place in Fairlands Valley Park, with the race village around the bandstand and the grass area next to the Stevenage Parkrun start.
Entry fees are published for each option: the 5k entry includes a finisher medal, the 10k entry includes a finisher medal and a unisex t-shirt, and a combined entry provides two medals and one shirt. Affiliated running club members receive a small discount.
The courses are wheel measured to ensure distance accuracy. The 10k course has water stations at 2.5 km and 7.5 km and an additional station at the finish. A supervised baggage area will be available near the start and mobile toilets will be provided in the park; there are no changing facilities on site.
The event is dog and pushchair friendly; runners using either are asked to start near the back and take care around other participants. The course is suitable for wheelchair users. Chip timing will record gun time and chip time and results are provided in real time after the race.
Awards include first, second and third placed male and female in each race, plus the three highest age-graded individuals, for a total of nine trophies per race. A set of random finishing-place prizes will also be awarded. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
