Stevenage Menzies 10k

Stevenage Menzies 5k and 10k Race Day - 30 August 2026

Stevenage Menzies Race Day takes place in Fairlands Valley Park, Stevenage, and combines a 5k, a 10k, a Tollers Mini Mile and a 5k and 10k combi challenge. The race village is based at the bandstand area opposite the park cafe and on the grass next to the Stevenage Parkrun start.

Entry fees and finishers items are published for each option: the 5k entry includes a finisher medal, the 10k entry includes a medal and a unisex t shirt, and the combi entry includes two medals and one t shirt. A small discount applies for affiliated running clubs. Race numbers are available for collection the day before at Fairlands Valley Park Main Car Park and on race day at the registration desk. A supervised baggage area is provided and all kit is stored at the owner’s risk.

The courses will be wheel measured accurately and each kilometre will be clearly marked. Chip and gun times are recorded and real time results are available; finishers receive time and position notifications. Mobile toilets will be at the event village and there are no changing rooms. The course is suitable for wheelchair users and runners may run with one well behaved dog on a short lead or one pushchair, starting from the back for safety.

Prizes include standard awards for first, second and third male and female and top three age graded in each race, plus additional random finishing position prizes such as entry vouchers, sports treatments and a cash voucher. There is no official race time limit and first aiders will be on course. In the event the race cannot be run, proceeds less costs will be donated to charity and virtual options are available.
