Steps Toward Healing 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run/walk held at Eisenhower Park, Parking Field 2, in East Meadow, NY. Dogs are not permitted in Eisenhower Park.
The walk honors children, siblings, and other loved ones who have died and supports COPE families in their healing. Participants may bring a small photo of a loved one for a communal memory board.
At the time of this listing, registration is not yet open and will open prior to the event. Registrants who register before March 22nd receive a T-shirt. Restrooms are available on site, and parking includes free and handicap spaces. Swag and snack bags are provided.
Results and race-day services include live, text, and email results, free finish-line photos, and same-day video and finish-line pictures. A personalized bib is available for those registered three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.
