Steps to Brighter Tomorrows Walk/Run
House of Neighborly Service presents the 4th Annual Steps to Brighter Tomorrows walk/run on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Olmos Basin Park in San Antonio. The event is organized to raise funds for the organization's programs that serve Westside families, and it takes place as part of a long history of community service spanning more than 100 years.
The event offers multiple route options:

Early bird individual tickets are listed at $35 each. Several sponsorship levels are available with specified benefits and program contributions, including:
- Sunrise Sponsor at $5,000 with media recognition, course signage, a marketing table, logo on the race t-shirt, and 20 individual sign-ups; $4,300 designated to program support.
- Sunset Sponsor at $2,500 with a marketing table, logo on the race t-shirt, and 15 individual sign-ups; $1,975 designated to program support.
- Spark Sponsor at $1,000 with a marketing table, logo on the race t-shirt, and 10 individual sign-ups; $650 designated to program support.
- Shine Sponsor at $500 with logo on the race t-shirt and 5 individual sign-ups; $325 designated to program support.
Proceeds are directed to programs such as early childhood education, child and family wellness including play therapy, and older adult wellness with meal service. The event is hosted by House of Neighborly Service, an organization focused on encouraging, educating, and empowering families on the Westside.
