About the race
Steps for STETSON is a running event at Fellowship Baptist Church in Thonotosassa, Florida on November 14, 2026. The program includes a competitive 5K and a 1 mile fun run/walk.

All participants receive a finisher medal. Age group awards are given for first, second and third place in 10-year age categories for male and female divisions; the race is manually timed. T-shirts are guaranteed in the registrant’s chosen size for those who register by November 4, 2026. Race packets may be picked up at the race site the morning of the event and on-site race-day registration is available.
Registration fees listed by the organizer include $35.00 for the 5K, $25.00 for the 1 mile event, and no fee for race volunteers. Proceeds support STETSON Ministries, an IRC 501(c)(3) charitable organization that conducts short-term medical missions. Funds raised will be used to purchase medicine for the 2026 mission trip. The organizer issues a unique referral code to registrants; a registrant who refers five people will receive a refund of their race fee.
