Event Overview
The Steps 2 Stability 5K takes place in Copperas Cove, Texas. Participants follow a route that travels through the local City Park and across the rolling hills of the surrounding residential neighborhoods. This event is a featured race in the Cen-Tex Race Points Series.
Course Details
The race follows a specific path starting and finishing at the Civic Center on West Avenue B. The layout includes several turns across public roadways and parkways:
- 5 km run through City Park and residential streets.
The route proceeds from the Civic Center parking lot onto Nick Nichols Parkway, E.R. Goodson Parkway, and J.A. Sharp Parkway. It continues along Beckman Parkway, Courtney Lane, Dekort Circle, and North 23rd Street. After a U-turn on Courtney Lane before Lubbock Drive, the path returns to the Civic Center via West Avenue B and Nick Nichols Parkway.
Registration and Amenities
There are two separate check-in stations available on the day of the event: one for participants who registered in advance and another for those registering on-site. Event t-shirts are provided with pre-registrations completed by August 10th. For those registering later, shirts may be purchased for an additional fee, subject to availability.
