The Stepping Out Turkey Trot takes place on November 22, 2025, in Morristown, TN (5233 Old Hwy 11E). The event includes these distances:

The 5K is held at the Morristown Regional Airport and uses runway and taxiway surfaces. The course is described as one of the flattest 5Ks in the Lakeway area. Stepping Out, Inc. is a United Way agency; registration is suspended during the United Way campaign months and will reopen November 1, 2025. To guarantee a race t-shirt, participants must register by November 12, 2025.
Logistics and policies
Early packet pick-up is available at the Stepping Out office (3441 W Andrew Johnson Hwy). Day-of packet pick-up and parking are at Alpha Baptist Church (245 St Johns Road); participants will be shuttled between that lot and the race site. Cash payment for entry is available at the race check-in site on race day; registrants must register online with a smartphone and then pay cash at a designated table before receiving a bib.
Awards are given three deep overall M/F, one deep M/F for Master, Grandmaster, and Veteran, and three deep M/F in listed age groups; awards must be claimed at the venue. The event runs in rain, sunshine, or cold; thunder or lightning may cause repeated delays and cancellation if conditions persist.
