Panther Claw 1776
Panther Claw 1776 is scheduled for July 3, 2027 in Morristown, TN at Panther Creek State Park. The event offers multiple race options over trail terrain centered on a hub aid station.

The full 17.76 mile course is made up of three named loops - Red, White, and Blue - each beginning and ending at a central aid hub. Runners must complete all three loops to finish the full distance; participants may choose the order in which they run the loops.
Trails at Panther Creek State Park are approximately 90% singletrack and include smooth mountain bike sections, rocky stretches, thick forest, overlook views of Cherokee Lake, flat segments, rolling hills, and a few steep climbs.
Relay teams are composed of three members, with each team member running one loop; each loop is roughly six miles. The start and finish area is located at the park Lower Field. Crews and drop bags are not permitted.
There is one aid station positioned at the start and end of each loop. Runners are asked to bring a cup; available items listed include water, electrolyte drinks or mix, cola, lemon lime soda, pickle juice, pancakes, bacon, and other snacks. There is a 5.5 hour cutoff for the event and participants must begin the third loop by 12:30pm. No refunds, transfers, or deferments are offered. Runners registered after June 15 are not guaranteed a shirt or finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
