Stephenville Lions Club Spooktacular
The Stephenville Lions Club Spooktacular is an annual multi-race event held on October 31 in Stephenville, Texas. Now in its 16th year, the event offers several different distances for participants starting from the Stephenville City Park. The proceeds from the event support various local initiatives, including youth and vision projects, scholarships, and the Texas Lions Camp.
The event features the following distances:
- Halloween Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
All participants who complete the Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K courses receive a participation medal. Runners who register on or before October 1 are guaranteed an event t-shirt, while shirts for those registering after this date are subject to availability.
Awards are presented for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K events. These include recognition for the first-place male and female finishers in both the overall and Masters (50 and over) categories. Additionally, divisional medals are awarded to the first, second, and third-place finishers in five-year incremental age brackets. Packet pickup is available on the Friday prior to the race at Ag Trust Farm Credit and on the morning of the event at the City Park Pavilion.
