The Mountain Lakes Mania returns for its fifth edition in Bluff Dale, Texas. Organized by the Mountain Lakes Ranch Social Committee, the event takes place at Skyline Park on Beacon Lake Drive. The course follows a scenic route through the Mountain Lakes Ranch community, starting at the local fitness track. Proceeds from the registration fees support community social activities such as holiday celebrations, picnics, and local gatherings.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- 10K running race
- 5K running race
- Sleep In Supporter virtual option
The event utilizes chip timing provided by professional services to record official results. Those who register before the October deadline receive a themed race shirt. A virtual "Sleep In Supporter" category is available for those who wish to contribute and receive a shirt without participating in the timed physical races.
Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers. Additionally, medals are awarded to the top three male and female participants across various age categories, ranging from age 11 and under to those aged 70 and over.
