Huffin’ for the Stuffin’ The Brinkley Family Turkey Trot presented by Stephenville Running Club
The 8th Annual Brinkley Family Turkey Trot presented by Stephenville Running Club is a family-oriented 5K held in Stephenville, Texas at 950 Bluebonnet St. The event includes aid stations along the course and provides a race shirt and medal to registered participants.
Organizers request canned food donations for Grace Place in addition to race entries. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted on the course. Registered runners receive a bib number for identification; participants who register after the guaranteed date will be eligible to run but may not receive a shirt or medal. Any remaining shirts after the event will be offered to late registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Door prize drawings occur promptly in the morning; participants should plan their loops to allow for a pace of about 20 minutes per mile if they wish to return to the start line in time for drawings. The event fee for the 5K is $30. Registration opens September 2 and closes November 8, with registration by November 7 guaranteeing a shirt and medal for registered participants.
