Step Up & Support 4-H
Step Up & Support 4-H is a virtual, weeklong step challenge based in Athens, GA, running September 13 to September 19, 2026. Participants walk or run anywhere and record daily step totals to build a seven day total.
All participants must record a minimum of 18,600 steps, approximately a 15K, during the event week to be eligible for race points and awards. Unlimited mileage counts as a 15K and qualifies for triple points. Placing is based on the total number of steps recorded during the seven day period. Speed does not matter and steps accrued while running other races are allowed. No points are awarded for a weekly total below 18,600 steps.
The registration fee is $24.44 and proceeds support Georgia 4-Hers. Registration ends September 18, 2026. Step totals must be submitted no later than September 20 via the event pages on RunSignUp or Clover Glove.
Awards and recognition are provided for participants who submit at least 18,600 steps. All qualifying registrants receive a pair of limited edition 4-H socks. The overall winner receives a $50 gift certificate to Shop 4-H, and masters and grandmasters receive premium 4-H items. Race points use a traditional 15K scoring scale for qualifying entrants.
