The Step Up for Kids 5K Run/Walk/Cycle takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in Cassadaga, New York. The event route is around Cassadaga Lake.

Participants can choose from four separate events, each covering a 5K distance:
- Step Up for Kids 5K Run
- Step Up for Kids 5K Walk
- Step Up for Kids 5K Road Bike
- Step Up for Kids 5K Electric Bikes
Registration and Pricing
Pre-registration for adults is $31.40 (including a $1.40 fee), while participants aged 18 and under pay $21.10. Alternatively, a direct price for ages 18 & under is listed as $20 during pre-registration. Online registration closes on Friday, May 15 at 6:00 PM EDT.
Registration is also accepted on the day of the race for an additional fee: $40 for adults and $30 for participants aged 18 and under. T-shirts are not available for same-day registrants.
Additional Information
The event features electronic timing provided by Wilson Endurance Sports using disposable chips. The registration fee includes a timing chip and a T-shirt. To guarantee a T-shirt, participants must register by the deadline of April 25, 2026; no extra shirts will be ordered.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers in each of the four categories (Run, Walk, Road Bike, and E-Bike). Age group winners will be recognized and listed in the official results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
