The Steamboat Classic Presented by PNC
The Steamboat Classic Presented by PNC is a road running event in Central Illinois. The 2026 edition is scheduled for June 6, 2026. The event has been held since 1974 and has operated for over 50 years under organizers that include Running Central, now RC Outfitters, and Illinois Valley Striders.

The Classic 4 Mile is run on a smooth, flat course. The Classic 15K follows hilly loops in Glen Oak Park. The event presents multiple competition categories, including elite athletes and wheelchair participants, alongside citizen fields and walkers.
