Steak Sprint 5K - Dobson, NC
The Steak Sprint 5K is part of the Ground Steak Festival in Dobson, North Carolina, and serves as the opening running event for the festival's fourth annual edition. The course runs through Dobson Square Park, nearby neighborhoods, and Surry Community College and has approximately 130 feet in elevation change. The event is described as family friendly.
Participants and guests can access festival offerings after the race, including the ground steak sandwich, local food vendors, craft vendors, and live music. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and over.
Registration fees are listed as Earlybird from March 31 to May 1 for $25.00 and Standard from May 2 to June 11 for $30.00. Registrants receive a race t-shirt if they register by May 31.
Packet pickup is available at Dobson Town Hall, 307 N Main St, Dobson NC, on the day before the event, and on race day at Simpson Insurance Shelter, 110 S. Crutchfield, Dobson NC.
