Rosy Cheeks 5K and Toy Drive - Mount Airy, NC
The 19th annual Rosy Cheeks 5K is paired with the Mount Airy Police Department Toy Drive at Riverside Park in Mount Airy, North Carolina on December 12, 2026. The event includes a community 5K and a Kid's 1/2 Mile Jingle Jog fun run for children.

- 5K: entry fee $25 plus toy donation

5K registration includes a Rosy Cheeks long-sleeve performance race t-shirt in a "Team Naughty" or "Team Nice" design. Fun Run shirts may be purchased for $20 through November 29. Shirts are available while supplies last.
All participants are asked to bring an unwrapped toy, gift, or gift card suitable for an elementary, middle, or high school age child for the Mount Airy Police Department Toy Drive. Toys will be collected at the event or may be dropped off November 23 through December 11 at Reeves Community Center, 113 S. Renfro Street, Mount Airy. Organizers will also accept monetary donations to purchase toys on behalf of others.
The 5K course follows the Ararat River Greenway starting at Riverside Park and runs to a 5K turnaround approximately 1.55 miles out. Course signage will direct runners. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to top three male and female finishers in standard age groups.
