Event details
The Rosy Cheeks 5K is scheduled for December 13, 2025 in Mount Airy, NC, at Riverside Park. The event includes a main 5K and a Kid's 1/2 Mile Jingle Jog fun run. The 5K course runs along the Ararat River Greenway, starting at Riverside Park and proceeding to a 5K turnaround at about 1.55 miles out. The event is paired with the Mount Airy Police Department Toy Drive; participants are asked to bring an unwrapped toy, gift, or gift card for an elementary, middle, or high school-age child.

Registration and purchase options listed for the event include: 5K entry for $20 plus a toy donation, free entry for the fun run, and a t-shirt-only purchase option for $20 (available through December 3). 5K registration includes a Rosy Cheeks long-sleeve performance race t-shirt in either "Team Naughty" or "Team Nice" style. Fun run t-shirts are available for purchase for $20. Shirts are available while supplies last. Toy donations may be dropped off November 24 - December 12 at Reeves Community Center, 113 S. Renfro Street, Mount Airy, or brought to the event.
Awards include top 3 male and female overall finishers and top 3 male and female in age groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
