Rosy Cheeks 5K and Toy Drive : Mount Airy, NC
The Rosy Cheeks 5K is presented as the 19th annual community 5K and Mount Airy Police Department toy drive, organized with Mount Airy Parks and Recreation. The event takes place on December 12, 2026 at Riverside Park, 350 Riverside Drive, Mount Airy, NC. A Kid’s 1/2 Mile Jingle Jog fun run is scheduled the same day.

The 5K registration includes a Rosy Cheeks long-sleeve performance race t-shirt with a choice of "Team Naughty" or "Team Nice." Fun run shirts may be purchased for $20 if ordered by November 29. Shirt availability is limited and offered while supplies last. A separate t-shirt only purchase option is available with a toy donation.
All participants are asked to bring an unwrapped toy, gift, or gift card for elementary, middle, or high school age recipients for the Mount Airy Police Department toy drive. Toys may be collected at the event or dropped off November 23 through December 11 at Reeves Community Center, 113 S. Renfro Street, Mount Airy.
The 5K course follows the Ararat River Greenway, starting at Riverside Park and running to a 5K turnaround approximately 1.55 miles out. Finish line awards include top three male and female overall winners and top three male and female in standard age groups. A holiday running outfit costume contest is also part of the event.
