State Games of Mississippi 5K Road Race
The event takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Bonita Lakes, 1 Bonita Reservoir Road, Meridian, MS 39301. The event is sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield.
The program includes the following distances and formats:
- 5K Road Race
- 5K Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run for ages 12 and under
Entry fees are stated as $25 for the 5K Road Race and the 5K Walk, and $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Online registration is recommended by May 25, 2026 to ensure correct t-shirt size; t-shirt size is not guaranteed for participants who register on site. On-site registration will close shortly before the event start.
Participants may enter only one event. Entrants registered in the 5K Walk are not permitted to run in the 5K Road Race.
The 5K includes male and female overall winners and age-group divisions for both sexes, with categories from 9 and under through 70 and older. The 1 Mile Fun Run is for male and female participants age 12 and under; the top three males and top three females in the fun run receive medals and all finishers receive ribbons.
