The race is the Centered Foundation’s second annual 5k. It supports the foundation’s mission to provide youth and families opportunities to enhance health through education, scholarships, and community engagement. The foundation describes its programs as designed to promote healthy habits, elevate physical and mental fitness, and build a stronger community. The first annual 5k had 120 participants.
