The Event
The Start Here Go Anywhere Run/Walk is a 4K community event open to everyone. It is organized by students from the Sport and Recreation Management program at St. Clair College. Proceeds will benefit the local charity KidSport Windsor and provide two scholarships for SRM students.
The event also features a 100m Kids Dash and a 1K Run/Walk.
The Course
The 4K route takes one lap around the scenic east side of the St. Clair College Main Campus. It highlights the Dr. Patti France Promenade and the athletic amenities at the south end of campus, including one lap on the turf field inside Acumen Stadium. The course also passes by The Village of St. Clair Long-Term Care facility. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Practical Information
- Online pre-registration is available, ending the day before the event.
- Race-day registration is also offered on site.
- Discounted entry fees are available for children, students, and St. Clair College alumni.
- The first 300 registrants will receive a finisher medal.
- There are draw prizes and cash awards for groups (college departments, varsity teams, local social running clubs) that bring out the most participants.
- For participant safety, dogs and pets are not allowed at the event.
