Start Here Go Anywhere 4K Run/Walk
The Start Here Go Anywhere event is an annual community run organized by students from the Sport Recreation and Management Club (SRM) at St. Clair College in Windsor. This event serves as a practical application of learning for students across all three years of the program, showcasing the college campus and its athletic facilities.
The course covers the scenic east side of the main campus. Participants will run along the Dr. Patti France Promenade, pass through the Sportspark, and complete one lap on the turf field inside Acumen Stadium. The route also includes a brief visit to the neighboring Village of St. Clair Long-Term Care facility. The following distances are available:
- 4 km Run/Walk (available for adults, students, and alumni)
- 1 km "Future Saints" Run/Walk
- 100 m "KidSport" Kids Dash
Proceeds from the event benefit the local charity KidSport Windsor and fund two scholarships for SRM students. The first 300 registered participants will receive a finisher medal and a handmade crochet sunflower pin. For participant safety, dogs and other pets are not permitted at the event.
