Event overview
The Paczki Run takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Hamtramck, Michigan (48212). The event features a single race distance of 5K that winds through the city and highlights local streets and businesses. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in age groups.
Logistics and race-day information
The start area is at the corner of Holbrook and Joseph Campau near Hadley. Packet pickup is scheduled at Florian East, 9350 Jos. Campau, on Thursday, February 12 (afternoon to evening) and Friday, February 13 (late morning to evening). Race-day packet pickup is available at the start/finish area beginning early on race morning; entrants receive a bib number and, when available, a T-shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by February 1, 2026; shirts are not guaranteed for later registrants.
After the finish, each finisher receives water and a paczek. Beer and a small shot of Detroit Distillery’s Paczki Vodka are available for participants 21 and older near the polka tent. A post-race polka event will take place and participating local businesses plan to offer day-of discounts to runners. The route will be closed to through traffic during the event; municipal lots and street parking are available outside the barricaded area.
