Paczki Run 2026 - Hamtramck
Paczki Run 2026 is a pre Fat Tuesday road event held in Hamtramck, Michigan. The main course is a 5K route that winds through the city and highlights local businesses and neighborhoods. Age group prizes are awarded to top finishers.
Post-race refreshments include a still water can and a paczek for finishers. Beer will be served to participants 21 and older near the polka tent, and a small shot of Detroit Distillery’s Paczki Vodka will also be available to those 21 and older. A polka party follows the run and participating businesses provide day-of discounts for runners.
T-shirts are offered to registrants who secure them by February 1, 2026; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after that date. Packet pick-up is held at Florian East, 9350 Jos. Campau, with scheduled times on Thursday, February 12 (4PM-7PM) and Friday, February 13 (11AM-6PM). Award pickup and posted results are handled at the packet pick-up tent after the run.
Parking options include several municipal lots and street parking; participants are advised not to park on the 5K route or block driveways and to pay meters if applicable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
