Stars & Stripes takes place on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Creekside Trail in Kilgore, TX. The event is presented by Run Different and is the second annual Stars & Stripes half-marathon. Multiple race formats are offered, including an in-person half-marathon and shorter distances. A virtual option is available that ships the event shirt and medal to participants.

Registration, awards and community
Entry fees listed include: Half-Marathon $60, 10K $38, 5K $30, 1 Mile $15, Virtual $40, Kid's Dash free. Prices increase after December 31, 2025. Registrants for the 5K, 10K, half-marathon and 1 Mile receive an event-themed participation shirt and a custom finisher medal; registrants must register by March 15 to guarantee shirt size. Age-group awards are given four deep for M/F divisions across standard age bands; overall and masters age-category medals are also awarded. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Volunteer roles are available and volunteers receive a code for a free race entry. The event supports charities, with 50% of profits and all donations to Wounded Warrior Project and 10% of profits and all donations to Encounter Church (Fate).
