Stars & Strides 250th Anniversary 5k and Fun Run : Smithville Park
Stars & Strides 250th Anniversary 5k and Fun Run is hosted by Solace Run Club and takes place in Smithville Park, Smithville, Ohio on August 15, 2026. The event is a MORM timed 5k run and walk on a course that begins and ends in Smithville Park. Packet pickup is available the day before, Friday, August 14, and also on race day at Smithville Park.
Each 5k registration includes an event shirt, a finisher medal, electronic chip timing, post race refreshments, and entry into race awards. Overall awards include gift cards for the top three male and female finishers. Age group awards for the top male and female finisher in each age category receive a smaller gift card. Age categories are 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
Registration cost for the 5k is listed as $25 plus processing fees, with family pricing available for additional participants. Proceeds from the event will benefit Solace Run Club.
