Medina Rec Indoor Tri 2026
The Medina Rec will host its 4th annual indoor triathlon, a biathlon, and a youth tri on February 8, 2026, at the Medina Rec Center, 855 Weymouth Road, Medina, OH. The facility offers 110,000 sq ft of recreation space and is in its 22st year.
The event includes separate formats for adults and youth. Adult race segments are organized into waves with a fixed number of participants per wave; each adult segment lasts 20 minutes with a 5 minute transition. The youth wave is for ages 7 to 15 and is restricted to current Medina Rec members; youth segments are 10 minutes with 10 minute transitions. The biathlon format consists of a 20 minute bike, a 5 minute transition, and a 20 minute run on the indoor track. Participants start in assigned waves and begin in the pool area when their wave is called.
Registration details note that some adult waves are already sold out while other waves and the youth wave have limited remaining spots. Prices listed include mandatory charges; adult price tiers have appeared at US$50.14 and US$55.49, and the youth entry is listed at US$28.74.
