Buzzard Day
Buzzard Day is a trail running event at Cleveland Metroparks Hinckley Reservation in Hinckley, OH. The course uses marked loops that include substantial climbing each 25k loop and sections of roots, rocks, and mud. Trails remain open to the public during the races.
The event offers multiple distance options and uses Ledge Lake at 1151 Ledge Road, Hinckley, as a race location for the shorter distances. The 100k distance requires prior arrangement with the organizers and may have different start arrangements to accommodate longer efforts.
Run To Share is associated with the event and proceeds benefit Run To Share for local assistance activities. The Brooklyn Exchange Club provides cabin and grounds for the weekend; camping on the club grounds is permitted for the race weekend and a bunkhouse is available. The organizers note that contributions to the Brooklyn Exchange Club are welcome from campers.
