Event

Buzzard Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Hinckley, Ohio. The race base is at Ledge Lake, 1151 Ledge Road, within the Cleveland Metroparks Hinckley Reservation. Registration closes on Thursday, March 12 at 11:59 PM ET. Proceeds benefit Run To Share. The organizer requests that anyone interested in the 100k contact the event staff in advance.

Course and access

The course is marked and uses 25k loops with noticeable climbing on each loop. Trail conditions include roots, rocks and mud. Trails will remain open to the public during the event. Hikers and well-behaved pets on an 8-foot leash are permitted on the course. Friends and family may accompany runners for short stretches. Camping on the event grounds is permitted from Friday afternoon until Monday at noon. A bunkhouse is available for use all weekend and the event has use of a cabin on site.
