The Buzzard Day Trail Race takes runners through the marked, rugged trails of Cleveland Metroparks' Hinckley Reservation. Choose from 25k, 50k, or 100k distances on a course featuring roots, rocks, and mud. Camping is available, and proceeds support the Run To Share charity.

Course

The event takes place at the Hinckley Reservation in Cleveland Metroparks. The course is a marked trail loop covering approximately 25 kilometers. The terrain includes roots, rocks, and mud.

Distances

The event offers three distances:

100 kilometers
50 kilometers
25 kilometers

Each distance has its own start time. The 50k and 25k distances start at Ledge Lake on Ledge Road. Trails will be open to the public during the event.

Additional Information

Camping is permitted on the grounds from Friday afternoon until Monday at noon. A bunkhouse is also available for use over the weekend. Well-behaved pets on leashes are welcome on the course, and hikers are also permitted. The event's proceeds benefit the Run To Share organization.
