Morgan Hill Veterans Day Run
The Morgan Hill Veterans Day Run is a community road running event held in Morgan Hill, California on Sunday, November 15, 2026. The event honors men and women who have served or are currently serving in the United States armed forces and raises funds for Operation Freedom Paws, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that trains and certifies service dog teams.
The event program includes multiple distances and a youth option:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run/Walk
- 1 mile Children's Run/Walk for runners 11 years or younger
Course details describe a loop on city streets that passes Dewitt Avenue, West Dunne, Peak Avenue, Main Street, Alley Way, Claremont Avenue, Spring and Hale extension sidewalks. The 5K course finishes at Main Street, and 10K participants complete the loop twice.
Awards and participant items are part of the event: first place male and female overall receive trophies, and all participants receive a medal and a gift. Bib and T-shirt pickup is available at The Granary in Morgan Hill and also on the day of the event. All race proceeds benefit Operation Freedom Paws. There are no day of run sign ups.
