Star City Half Marathon
The Star City Half Marathon is organized by Virginia Amateur Sports in Roanoke, Virginia on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and includes a partnered food drive with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and Kroger.

In-person registration fees listed by date are: half marathon $70 until July 10, $80 July 11 to November 21, and $90 at packet pick up; 10K $45 until July 10, $55 July 11 to November 21, and $65 at packet pick up. Kids Fun Run is $20, not timed, with a finisher medal and shirt. Virtual entry fees are $50 for the half and $40 for the 10K; virtual participants receive a medal and participant packet by mail and are not eligible for age group or overall awards. Virtual completion deadline is 11/20/26.
Packet pick up is available early on Friday, November 20 at Fleet Feet Roanoke and on race day at River's Edge Park/Fields North off Reserve Avenue. Virtual packets are mailed November 24. Course maps are provided and course takedown begins at 11:45 am based on a 15 minute mile pace. Post-race food is served first come first serve. The race serves as the third leg of the Roanoke Valley Triple Crown.
