Stan Bradshaw Pendle Round

The event takes place on Saturday 7th March 2026. It is a run around the Pendle Massif, visiting parts of the hill less frequented by other races. The route includes a mixture of defined paths and boggy moorland, with steep climbs and grassy descents. Some sections offer route choice for participants.

The race starts and finishes outside Barley Village Hall. There are six intermediate checkpoints around the course. The organizer states that the route is not suitable for novice runners in bad weather or poor visibility. An early start is available for participants aged 70 and over.

Kit Requirements

Participants must carry full waterproof body cover, hat, gloves, a map of the route (available for free download), compass, whistle, and emergency food, as per FRA rules. Kit checks will be conducted at registration and during the event.

Entry Information

Entry is open to those aged 18 or older. There are two entry fees: one for FRA members and a higher fee for non-members. The event uses online registration via SiEntries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
