Stairs4RTroops 2026
Stairs4RTroops is the 12th annual stadium stair climb taking place on October 25, 2026 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. The event is a community stair-climbing fundraiser with the Bob Woodruff Foundation listed as the title sponsor and all net proceeds designated for Homes For Our Troops, a nonprofit that builds specially adapted homes for severely injured post‑9/11 veterans.
Participants run or walk in the stadium lower bowl beginning near section 105/106 and climb through approximately 36 sections. Most sections have two sets of 72 stairs, giving an approximate total of 5,184 steps in the lower bowl, though a few sections do not have full stair sets. Waves are scheduled every 15 to 30 minutes.
Advance registration is encouraged and same-day sign-up is available. Registration categories and rates in the source material are: Adult (18 and over) $40, Child (17 and younger) $15, and Spectator $15; spectators must pay a registration fee. Teams can be created during registration and fundraising is optional, with prizes for the top fundraising individual and team. Event shirts are provided in sizes S through 2XL. Volunteers are requested and concession stands inside the stadium will be open; outside food and drink are not permitted. Water stations are available on the course.
