St Sunday Sky Race

Website Registration

The St Sunday Sky Race is a challenging 29km mountain trail race with 2050m of ascent, held in the Lake District around Patterdale. It features technical trails over St Sunday Crag and the Eastern Fells, offering a classic skyrunning experience suitable as a stepping stone to longer, harder races. The course combines parts of the old Lakes Sky Ultra with new sections, avoiding ultra and extreme elements but maintaining technical difficulty.

Participants enjoy a fully marked route, multiple manned checkpoints, a well-stocked feed station, electronic timing, and GPS tracking. The event includes a post-race vegan meal and awards a unique seed bomb finisher’s medal, all set within a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
