The St Sunday Sky Race is a challenging 29km mountain trail race with 2050m of ascent, held in the Lake District near Patterdale. This classic skyrunning event features technical trails over St Sunday Crag and the Eastern Fells, offering a demanding yet accessible introduction to skyrunning. The course combines parts of the old Lakes Sky Ultra with new sections, avoiding the ultra and extreme elements but maintaining technical difficulty.

Participants enjoy a fully marked route, multiple manned checkpoints, a well-stocked feed station, electronic timing, and GPS tracking. The race takes place within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, promising a thrilling mountain experience with a supportive atmosphere and post-race vegan meal.
