Shoreham Bank St. Pat’s 5K in Providence, RI

The Shoreham Bank St. Pat’s 5K takes place at the Rhode Island State House in Providence on March 20, 2027. The 5K course follows the route of the Providence St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which begins immediately after the race. The event includes a post race gathering at Patrick’s Pub on Smith Street with live music and a cash bar; patrons should bring identification.

The event program includes the following distances and formats:

  • Kids Leprechaun Run: about 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under
  • 5K Run/Walk: 3.1 miles, walkers welcome, no pets, strollers must start in the back

The St. Pat’s 5K is the second race in the Tour de Patrick, a three race series held across Rhode Island during March. Participants who complete all three races receive a Tour de Patrick gift and a finisher’s medal after the final race. Virtual participation is available; shirts may be picked up at pre-race packet pickup or mailed after race day, and virtual results count toward Run Rhody series standings.

Packet pickup is scheduled on the days before race day at Marathon Sports in Providence and on race day near the State House. Awards include top overall finishers, age group winners, and a top team prize. Proceeds benefit Amos House. Entry fees, registration deadlines, and race policies are published by the organizer.
