Shoreham Bank St. Pat's 5K : Providence, RI
The Shoreham Bank St. Pat's 5K takes place on March 21, 2026 at the Rhode Island State House, 82 Smith Street, Providence. The 5K follows the route of the Providence St. Patrick's Day Parade, which begins immediately after the race. A post race gathering is held at Patrick's Pub at 381 Smith Street with live music and a cash bar; identification is required for bar service.
The event program includes the following races
- Kids Leprechaun Run approximately 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under
- 5K Run/Walk 3.1 miles
- VIRTUAL Shoreham Bank St. Pat's 5K
Parents may run with children in the kids race. Walkers are welcome in the 5K. Pets are not allowed and strollers must start at the back of the field for safety.
The race is the second leg of the Tour de Patrick, a three race series held across Rhode Island in March. Participants who complete all three races receive a Tour de Patrick gift and a finisher medal that is collected at the Shamrock Shuffle event. Virtual participation counts toward the series and race shirts can be picked up at pre race packet pickup or mailed after the event if needed.
Awards include overall and age group prizes plus a team award. Individual overall awards are scored by gun time and age group awards are scored by chip time. The event supports Amos House. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
