St. Patrick's Rock'n 5K : Youngstown, NY

St. Patrick's Rock'n 5K is scheduled for March 14, 2026, in Youngstown, New York. The 8th annual event is organized by iRun WNY to help raise funds for the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company Fire Police. The course is USATF certified and runs through residential neighborhoods, with the start on Main Street in front of the Ontario House (aka Stone Jug) and the finish inside the back parking lot of The Jug. The event distance is 5K. Custom race bibs and post-race snacks are provided.

Online registration is available through race day with a stated fee of $35 that includes a Rock'n 5K shirt, race bib, and post-race snacks; shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by Friday, March 6 at 9am, and a limited number of extra shirts will be distributed first-come, first-serve. A mail-in registration option is available that requires completion and mailing of both the race waiver and the USATF liability waiver with payment to iRunWNY. Packet pickup will take place at the Stone Jug prior to the race.

Awards include trophies for the first place overall male and female finishers and custom shamrock bottle opener medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older. Professional electronic RFID timing is provided by Race Management Solutions with live and downloadable results and finisher certificates. A post-race celebration and awards ceremony will be held at the Stone Jug with traditional Irish music; the venue will offer participant specials and its kitchen will be open. The event policy allows organizers to reschedule or convert to a virtual 5K for safety reasons; no refunds will be issued.
