Event Overview

The St. Patrick's Rock'n 5K is an annual road race and walk held in Youngstown, New York. The 2026 event will be its 8th edition. A portion of the event's proceeds is donated to the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company Fire Police.

Course and Start

The 5K course is USATF-certified and travels through residential neighborhoods in the village. The start line is on Main Street in front of the Ontario House (also known as the Stone Jug). The finish line is inside the back parking lot of The Jug.

Registration and Included Items

Registration is $35 through race day. Participants who register by a specified Friday in March are guaranteed a race t-shirt in their requested size. A limited number of extra shirts are available after that date on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration also includes a custom race bib and post-race snacks.

Schedule and Location

Packet pickup and same-day registration occur at the Stone Jug from 9:30 AM on the event day.

Post-Race

A post-race celebration and awards ceremony are held at the Stone Jug. The venue offers happy hour specials to participants and has its kitchen open. Traditional Irish music is played at the finish line.

Awards

Trophies are awarded to the first-place overall male and female finishers. Custom shamrock bottle opener medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups range from 19 and under to 70 and older. Finisher certificates with race stats and age group rank are available for download after the event.

Other Details

Professional RFID timing is provided. Results are updated in real-time and can be accessed via a mobile app, results kiosks, or websites. Free parking is available throughout the village, with overflow parking near Fort Niagara. The event has a no-refund policy but may be rescheduled or converted to a virtual race in case of cancellation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
