St. Patrick's May the Road Rise to Meet Ye 2 Mile Run/Walk
Registration for the 2027 edition is not yet open. The prior event took place on March 22, 2026 in Patchogue and followed a two mile route through the Main Street area.
The event format is a 2 mile run/walk. Main Street was closed early for parade setup and suggested parking was north of Main Street, with Waverly Avenue noted for parking south of Main Street. Packet pickup and day of registration were handled at the race registration booth near the intersection of West Avenue and Main Street in front of Blue Point Brewery. Personalized race numbers were available to registrants who registered at least three weeks in advance. The race bib also served as the ticket for one post-race beer for participants 21 and older, and a self lookup area was available for bib numbers.
Amenities and services included a tech tee for the first 300 registrants, post-race beverage access at participating Pubs of Patchogue, a costume contest for the Most Irish looking with a cash award, and on-site support from a local chiropractic practice offering stretching and volunteer assistance for street monitoring.
Awards included cash prizes for top overall male and female, a Most Irish looking cash prize, recognition for the top law enforcement officer, and top three finishers by male and female age groups. Medals could be picked up after the race on Railroad Avenue. Course mapping was provided online via MapMyRun. Results were distributed live online, by email, and by text, with same-day finish line photos and additional event photos posted on social media.
