About the race
St. Patrick's May the Road Rise to Meet Ye is a community 2 Mile run/walk held on Main Street in Patchogue. The event includes race-day amenities, finisher recognition, and local participation elements tied to nearby businesses.
First 300 registrants receive a technical race shirt. Participants aged 21 and over are eligible for one complimentary beer at the Pubs of Patchogue by presenting their race bib. There is a costume contest for the "Most Irish looking" with a cash prize of $100.
Awards include $100 to the top male and female overall, $100 for the most Irish looking, an award for the top law enforcement officer, and top-three male and female awards in multiple age groups from 14 and under through 75 and over. Medals are available for pickup after the race on Railroad Ave once results are posted.
Packet pickup and day-of registration are located near the intersection of West Ave and Main Street in front of Blue Point Brewery; bibs also serve as the beer ticket and there is a self-lookup area for bib numbers. Main Street will be closed early for parade setup; suggested parking is north of Main Street, with Waverly Ave available for parking south of Main Street.
