St. Patrick's May the Road Rise to Meet Ye 2 Mile Run/Walk
This event is a two mile run and walk held on Main Street in Patchogue. Main Street will be closed early for parade setup. Suggested parking is north of Main Street, and Waverly Avenue is suggested for parking south of Main Street.
Amenities listed for participants include a tech shirt for the first 300 registrants and a complimentary beer for participants aged 21 and over at the Pubs of Patchogue upon showing the race bib. There is a costume contest for the "Most Irish Looking" with a $100 prize. A local provider will offer stretching services and volunteer support for street closures and monitoring.
Awards include cash for the top male and female overall finishers, a $100 prize for the Most Irish Looking winner, recognition for the top law enforcement officer, and top three male and female finishers in age groups from 14 and under through 75 plus. Medals and awards can be picked up on Railroad Avenue after results are posted.
Packet pickup and day-of registration begin at 10:30am at the race registration booth near the intersection of West Avenue and Main Street in front of Blue Point Brewery.
