Event Details
The St. Patrick's Day Run Tulsa is the 42nd annual edition of this event. It is presented by Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and takes place on March 14, 2026. The start and finish location is RunnersWorld Tulsa at 3920 S Peoria Ave in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The event features two races: a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run. The 5K is chip-timed. An exhibition race for Special Olympics athletes is also scheduled.
Proceeds from the event benefit Special Olympics Oklahoma and the Tulsa Running Club. The course is described as fast and flat, following an out-and-back route.
Registration & Participation
Registration costs are $40 for participants aged 13 and over, and $30 for those aged 12 and under. The charge appears on credit card statements as 'Special Olympics Oklahoma'. T-shirts are only guaranteed for registrations completed by February 9, 2026. All runners receive a medal. In-person and race-day registration is available.
Packet pickup occurs at RunnersWorld Tulsa on March 12 and 13, with specific pickup hours. Race day registration begins at 7:30 AM.
Post-Race & Awards
A post-race ceremony includes an awards tent, DJ and music, a photo booth, and free beer served in individual containers. Bottled water is available in staging areas and at a water stop on the course. Portable toilets are located nearby.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group, as well as overall and masters winners. Overall awards are based on gun time, while age group awards use chip time. The Tulsa Running Club offers a $100 bonus for setting a new state open 5K record. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
