Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K - Tulsa
Gingerbread Lane is a holiday running event on 23rd Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event uses local parks and greenbelts and may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Packet pickup is offered starting 1.5 hours before the event start. Shirts are guaranteed if ordered at least 10 days before the event.
Race options include a children’s dash, a 1 mile, chip timed 5K and 10K, a volunteer-then-run option for the 5K, and a virtual distance. All finishers receive a race shirt and a finisher medal. The Kids Dash is an untimed roughly 50 meter sprint designed for children 10 and under; it includes a tee shirt, medal, and a Kids Dash recognition pin.
The 5K and 10K are chip timed and feature overall trophies for first male and female finishers, masters recognition pins for first place in the masters category, and standard age group award pins and medals through multiple age categories. Aid stations and water stations are placed on course to provide fluids and basic assistance.
The event includes a holiday costume contest with prizes including two free entries to a future Bigfoot race, a trophy, and a holiday treats bucket. Volunteers can choose from multiple roles and may earn a race shirt, souvenir medal subject to availability, VIP access, and a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
