About the race
The 24th Annual Owasso Hog Jog is a community running event held at Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma, with the start line at the OHS track and packet pick-up at the Owasso High School Fieldhouse (12901 E. 86th St. N., Owasso, OK 74055). The event program includes multiple distances:
- 5K
- One-mile Fun Run/Walk (ages 5 and over)
- Fun Run for children 4 and under
Entry fees listed for the named events are $35.00 for the 5K, $25.00 for the one-mile Fun Run/Walk, and free for the Fun Run for children 4 and under. Group rates apply to the 5K when four or more register together; the group discount is $5.00 per person and the last day to join a team is Sunday, November 23.
Race packets may be collected at pre-race packet pick-up dates the week before the event and on race day at the fieldhouse; unclaimed packets will be held until December 4, 2026, after which remaining items will be donated. There are no refunds.
Shirt orders are guaranteed only if registration is completed by November 7; shirt exchanges or shipping are not offered and all shirt orders are final. Prizes are awarded 1st through 3rd in each gender and age group, with additional prizes for the fastest overall male and female. Winners must be present to receive prizes. All finishers receive a medal.
The event also accepts donations: a name can be added to the race t-shirt design for a $20 donation by November 7, and non-perishable food items for Owasso Community Resources are collected at packet pick-up and on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
